The agroforestry and forest management learning community initiative aims to help sustain small farms and private woodland productivity. We seek to achieve these goals by improving the capacity of natural resource educators and landowners to develop woodland management practices that are adequately diverse, integrated, profitable, healthy and sustainable. Our learning community approach involves farmers, forest owners, educators and scientists in designing and assessing the performance of promising practices.
